Bergamot fruits have a color that, depending on the level of maturation, goes from green to yellow. They are produced only in the province of Reggio Calabria as the plant suffers a lot from frosts and sudden changes in temperature, and therefore benefits from the optimal climate and favorable hilly soil (alluvial and clayey soils) typical of this area.
